Situated down New Zealand’s incredible Forgotten World Highway, Omaka Lodge lies in the heart of New Zealand’s Forgotten World. Located just 7kms from the friendly country township of Taumarunui, Omaka Lodge is an ideal location for boutique events.

Garden Visits – our expansive gardens have hosted many visitors – from individuals to groups to garden clubs. Regardless of size, we welcome you to visit our beautiful and expansive country gardens by appointment.

Boutique Venue Hire – within its elegant interior, Omaka Lodge has two rooms available for boutique venue hire. The stunning formal dining room features a large antique oak table that seats 10, and looks out to the courtyard and gardens beyond. Adjoining the formal dining room is our beautiful formal living room that features a spectacular vaulted beamed ceiling, comfortable seating, a wall-mounted 40-inch LCD TV, restful garden views and direct access to the deck and courtyard. Both rooms are air-conditioned, and the formal living room also features an open fire. A spacious and private guest toilet opens off the adjacent entrance hall.

Boutique Garden Weddings – if you seeking a picturesque setting for a boutique garden wedding, Omaka Lodge is a beautiful choice. Our bed and breakfast rooms provide accommodation to wedding guests; our expansive grounds offer plenty of space for ceremonies and marquees; and our beautiful country gardens offer an enormous variety of photo locations.
